A dose of adrenaline
Located on the Czech side of the Jizera Mountains, the 20-meter-high observation tower on Smrek is a steel construction that opened in 2003. You can admire the panorama of the mountains from two terraces. At the foot of the tower is a small buffet.
The Smrek tower is located just a few hundred meters from the Polish border and less than 3 kilometers from the Na Stogu Izerskim chalet. It is open all year round with free admission to the viewing platforms. Under the structure, you will find wooden benches where you can rest or wait during poor weather.
